The Printed Element

Top: Only; Printed Pants: Bangkok(flea market); Neckpiece: All That Jazz; Red Wedges: Zara; Rings: ALDO, Forever21; Earrings: toinQ ; Bracelets: DIY; Sunglasses: ALDO; Clutch: H&M

Monochrome printed pants are every inch a staple. A printed element gives any outfit another layer of interest and lets you walk out the door in a put together look without requiring additional accessories.

These diamond printed pants gives of-the-moment graphic edge to perfect-fitting pants. They're eased through the thigh and tailored to taper down the leg.
I chose to wear a simple crayola blue silk top for the printed pants to be the emphasized element of my outfit. I paired the outfit with red wedges and accessorized it with some jewellery and sunglasses.

Next time you’re running late, team a simple silk blouse with printed pants like this, a pair of heels/wedges and some accessories. Style, at its most efficient, is effortless.

To the brother

Top : Cotton World; Maxi Skirt : Envy; Pastel Neckpiece : Exhibition; Shoes : Hongkong; Bracelets: DIY, Rings : Causeway,Forever New

Having a little brother can be a beautiful thing, something a lot of people would love to have. The average number of fights between my brother and me is five to six fights every hour and it’s usually because of him being a little brat, but I still love him.You would never be lonely because they would be right next to you and of course they would comfort you in times of distress, but what about the side that lives to annoy you and loves to get you blamed? That’s what little brothers are meant for, right?
On the occasion of ‘Raksha Bandhan’,I dedicate this post to my little brother.

Maxi skirts are a great thing to have in your closet, especially because you can develop so many different styles around them. In fact, these skirts are so versatile you can even create some amazing looks by pairing them up with some statement traditional Indian jewellery pieces too.
I paired this maxi skirt with a white chickenwork top and a pastel green and lavender double paisley neckpiece.

Leave those overdone traditional dresses in your closet and mix and match away to create a look that’s different, stylish and you can effortlessly blend the regal look of an Indian queen with the chic style of your Maxi skirt this festival.

La petite robe

Dress: Forever21; Rings : ForeverNew,Forever21; Shoes: Clarks; Bracelets: DIY

I believe in perfect little dresses. It’s a treasure, and it’s an article of clothing that every woman should have in her closet. It could easily be found in one shopping trip or it could take numerous excursions to your favourite vintage store. New, used or recycled, it’s not about where the dress is from; it’s how it makes your feel.

Little dresses will never go out of style. Dress it up or down, wear a pair of high heel pumps or cowboy boots, drown it in gold jewellery or wear a simple pair of earrings. It can be assembled of satin or silk, have ruffles on the bottom or be a simple cotton A line style. This dress should represent you.

The dress I am wearing in this post is my current favourite little dress. Its so feminine and at the same time makes me feel so comfortable. I wore this dress for a family brunch. I paired it up with some custom made bracelets and rings. I also added a pop of color on my nails, and finished the look with my white and silver 'Clarks' heels.
