This fall looks to Monet for inspiration with water-coloured blossoms on everything from short sweet skirts to long flowing maxi-dresses. Get inspired from the runways and look for soft, or vivid and abstract floral, avoiding anything that looks too much like the real thing. Whether you’re six or 46, there’s something undeniably appealing about flowers. I’m a huge fan of floral designs and wear it all year long. Reinventing your summer floral for a fall style can actually be very intimidating and tricky, but all you really need to do is bring in your dark floral into the transition. The dark floral trend is to be seen everywhere this fall, while the weather is still kind of summery , I had my sunglasses on. I styled this dark Forever21 floral dress with my black Moschino belt, a neon box clutch bag, simple black heels, pastel peach statement earrings, rings and red nails to add a classy edge. . I would love to see how you would style your dark floral garments. You all can share your pictures on my facebook page or email them to me on nehavoraa@gmail.com.

Get mad for a plaid skirt this fall. And, the style you choose doesn't have to resemble the one you wore in high school.Go for a more grown-up, mature take on this schoolgirl weave.
How to style your plaid skirt?
At the office : Wear your plaid skirt with a black button-down blouse to look stylish at work.
Classic look : If you want a classic look for your red and black plaid skirt, pair it with a white top. When paired with a light neutral shirt, the plaid pattern becomes the focal point of your outfit. If a white top seems too stark with the red and black skirt, choose an off-white shirt in cream or ivory instead.
Casual look : For a casual look, a simple T-shirt or tank top in red or black can work well with your plaid skirt (I have adapted the casual look for this post).Add black wedges or flat boots and you are ready for weekend.
Party look : If you want to wear this skirt out for a party or to a date, pair it with a black camisole or corset style top with lace details and stiletto heels. . If it’s a chilly night, you can add a red or black tailored blazer or leather jacket over the top to keep warm. An off-the-shoulder top in black or red can also give your skirt a sultry look for the evening. Pair it with knee-high black boots and you're ready for an evening out
Style Tip : When you want a chic, understated look, your best option is to draw inspiration from the red and black plaid in your skirt. Stick to red and black pieces for the rest of your outfit so the color palette is limited to two colors.

The Festive Affair

Diwali is here again! Festivals are nothing but the expression of one’s own gratitude, joy, appreciation and love. They are the best ways of bringing the society together to take time off and celebrate in unison. India is a land of festivals and celebrations. Festivals, whether religious or secular, national or local, serve to meet specific social and psychological needs and provide cohesiveness to social institutions. Eyes alight with the joy of sharing and caring, all Indians celebrate this triumph of good over evil – festival with gaiety and an infectious happiness! It is a way of celebrating nature and its wonderful and abundant bounties.
Indian fashion is known for its rich and diverse heritage, where each province has its own traditional apparel. I decided to tweak these various trends in the most innovative way I could. I gave my outfit an indo-western touch by wearing a translucent yellow dress with a golden brocade printed pant- for the see through effect. The respective customs and traditions gave me a huge plethora of options to experiment with. The end result is an element of ethnicity that worked for me. The trends of the east and west are incorporated creatively to form a different ‘fusion of fashion.’ I would love to know how you styled your festive outifit this year.
Happy Diwali.
Lots of Love and Happiness,
Envy.
