On The Beach! ♥

Dress; Sunglasses: Forever21, Shoes; Earrings: ForeverNew; Bracelets: DIY & All That Jazz;
On my nails: Faces Frosty Ice Blue

Being a beach girl myself, I’ve got to say that Spring/Summer is my all time favourite season. As the warm days have finally arrived, fashion is getting more cheerful and creative, especially when it comes to beach style. There is something to be said about the vibrancy this time of the year has. The colours, sunshine, prints and sun-kissed tans, what’s not to love?  Moreover, my fashion loving soul gets to hop, skip and jump. Are you excited to go to the beach and experience summer fun?
We know how the scorching heat of the sun can be irritating and annoying sometimes. That’s why everyone is wishing they could spend the day at the beach – bumming around, sipping some fruit shakes, eating, swimming and basically doing nothing but enjoying the sun. However, it would be more fun if you could add some fashion to it.
This season’s cover-up dresses are a myriad of bold and colourful prints, so have as much fun with them as possible. Multi-coloured stripes, tribal prints and bold florals will add an eye-catching element to your beachwear. Choose a dress that fits your style. Dresses are very light and it is extremely easy to slip on a summer dress. Maybe you’ve noticed that the floral print dresses, swimsuits, shoes, and even sunglasses are everywhere. Any flower can be incorporated into great summer wear, but the most famous are the passionflowers, rosses and daisies.
Turn heads on the beach with eye-catching jewellery. Bolder pieces will get you noticed and keep your look up-to-date so opt for statement pieces or layering finer items together. I opted for a bold statement feather earring, and a printed beach bag along with my oversized sunglasses, simple yet chic at the same time! Let’s be honest here, sunglasses can add up to your stylish factor, so don’t forget to bring it with you. You might as well be bold in choosing colorful sunglasses that are perfect for summer. Also, it’s important to protect your eyes from the sun so it is not just a fashion thing to wear it but it also serves as a protection for your eyes. Besides, summer is all about freedom so you could easily do some mixing and matching in terms of your outfits and accessories.

Looking chic and sunkissed while you're lounging, however, takes a little bit of work. Shake off those winter blahs and perk up your look for the beach weather. You'll feel great!

Pipa+Bella's New Scarves Collection

Are you tired of everything in your closet since it all seems dark or like you have worn it 10 times? Scarves are one of the easiest and most affordable accessories you can have to update your wardrobe for style and function. Statement scarves are my perpetual fashion favorite. I love that they can make any outfit look chic and can also keep you cozy on long days.
The Pipa+Bella Scarves come in a variety of styles, colors, textures and weights, so you can wear them year round. Dress up an outfit, add color to neutrals or pull separates together by the simple addition of these scarves. They will help you to create different styles with color, texture and design of your outfit. All you need is a little imagination to create that finishing touch or add a new touch to a tired outfit.
Women today want fashion forward looks without the expense of an entirely new wardrobe. You can create a simple, yet classic look by wrapping a vivid scarf around the shoulders of a blouse, and knotting it in the front or on the side. A bias or oblong scarf can even add flair to a ponytail when it is tied around the hair with the ends hanging loosely. You can create a dramatic look by draping a scarf over one shoulder and tucked into a belt, and voila -- a entirely new outfit. Try wearing a large square scarf around the hips tied on the side or in front, to add excitement to a simple dress. An oversized square scarf can be worn instead of a jacket as the weather gets cooler. Scarves can be more dramatic in the evening when worn as a shawl over an evening dress, and more casual during the day when worn over a shirt or blazer. Drape over the shoulder or around the back of a winter coat for added warmth and style. And there still is the option of wearing a scarf cowled around the neck inside a coat for more protection against the cold winter air.

The new Pipa+Bella Scarves Collection would effortlessly help you to achieve these looks! Check out the whole collection here  at http://www.pipabella.com/scarves.html#/page/1

Summer Loving

Maxi Dress: Exhibition; Bag: metamorphosis ; Rings: Accessorize; Cylindrical Glasses: Colaba Causeway; Wedges:Catwalk;
Neckpiece: Primark

Are you ready for a sweeping entrance?
Bright, colourful, flowing and very feminine, the maxi dress is one of those articles of clothing that will never go out of style.You can wear it anywhere, in the day and the night, this flirty, flowy dress will help you stay cool, comfortable and fabulous in the warm months ahead. It is one of the hottest hemline of the season: sidewalk skimming and undeniably sexy. A maxi dress will always make you look leaner and taller. It is perfect for a hot day, its long and breezy fabric keeps you cool and its classic lines give you effortless chic. They can be worn during the day as a casual dress then teamed with a pair of heels/wedges and accessories can turn into a glamorous evening look. I also love that many of the fabrics for maxi dresses are non-iron so they are the perfect item to throw in a bag and take away on summer holidays. A maxi dress creates a very glamorous look, with a very minimal amount of effort. It is also very forgiving and flattering to every body type. A pretty maxi dress can work for the beach with sandals and a bikini, or can be dressed up for a night out. They are definitely trending as an ought-to-have summer dress and it´s evident for how many seasons now. They´ve been given a revamp, to the sole satisfaction of all fashionistas, that they´re now available as sheer maxi dresses, in jersy or delicate materials, layered upon each other in the form of tiered skirts or cut out panels.

Maxi dresses can suit women of all sizes, which is a huge plus, however there are plenty of variations to the maxi dress so it is important when shopping for your dress that you find one that is going to harmonize your figure. Another trick for smaller ladies is to find a maxi dress that has a V-neck. This shape will elongate your body to make you appear taller and slimmer. The V-neck style reveals more skin encouraging a streamlined silhouette. A V-neck designed maxi dress will also complement women who are pear shaped, as the V-neck helps balance out the proportions of the body.
Perhaps the most obvious tip for shorter women when wearing a maxi, particularly in the evenings, is to add a pair of heels. Although the dress flows down to the feet and the shoes are unlikely to be seen, the added height will create a taller and more slender vision.
In terms of what details and patterns are likely to compliment a petite figure, colours such as black, green, dark plums and chocolate browns can all add to a taller illusion.

When it comes to accessorizing your maxi dress with jewellery, bigger is always better. Small and delicate necklaces just don’t get noticed, and so you need to wear bold and colourful jewellery to accentuate the funky beach goddess vibe.
