Citrus Salon & Spa: Review

Recently I was invited by Citrus Hair & Beauty Salon to come and avail their different range of services. Citrus Hair & Beauty Salon is located near Carter road, Bandra West. They offer a range of beauty services to take care of all grooming needs. 

 The look and feel of the salon is minimalistic and modern – in fact I walked past it at first not realising it was there, then looked like a real ‘Northerner on a day trip’, as I used my Google maps like a compass.

Out of their entire range I opted for their, Advanced Hair Cut & Spa Treatment. The atmosphere at the salon was friendly, warm and very familial.

When it comes to a hair cut I am a bit too nervous as a bad haircut can ruin the the way you look and it takes atleast 15-20 days for you to get adjusted to the new hair. In order to avoid any mishaps I specified guidelines to the hair dresser. I asked for  ‘More volume, some short layers  (styling the hair becomes easy)  I wanted to keep the length, but I didn’t mind a small trim’. The hair stylist followed the specified instructions and gave me the exact look which I asked for. I’m happy with my overall salon experience and the cut.My hair is SO much easier to manage now. Nothing feels better and makes you look better than a good hair cut.

Thank you Citrus Salon & Spa for reviving my hair and boosting my confidence! And also for your excellent service! I felt  welcomed by the friendly staff. Definitely going to recommend you to all my family and friends :)

Culottes - neither are they pants nor shorts or even skirts! Not too long and a big rage in the 60s, 70s and as my little brain recalls 80s as well. Back in her time, my mother was way ahead with her fashion choices as she had more culottes than I own skaters now! While the width and length of culottes can vary by quite a margin, the pants are usually high-waisted, which means they work particularly well with a top on the shorter side. Boxy tops or oversized styles may look good (more high fashion, funky sophisticated) but it’s a matter of proportion. You gotta try it to see if it works. It doesn’t have to be a crop top, but it should fall above your hip so your mid-section doesn’t end up looking wider than it is. 

Whether you’re tall or petite, lanky or curvy, there’s a culotte out there with your name on it just waiting to be made into a fashion statement. Spotted on the runways to the streets, culottes have proven to be 'The Trend' to try.

One of the most flattering of all styles in 2015 is the return of the culottes, albeit with a modern twist. Heels (sandals, pumps) will always make culottes look smarter, office appropriate and posh. Flats can look very French chic, so can oxfords or brogues. An alternative style could be a tucked in blouse, which is a great corporate attire. Culottes are most definitely not just a summer staple, they will carry you well into fall.
