Leopard Print Top : Zara; Black Jeggings : Only; Shoes : Cupcakes
and Closet ; Ring : Blur
Animal print never goes out of
fashion. In fact, every season and every year, people parrot, “Animal print is
in trend!” If there's a print so temptious and trendy yet so challenging to
wear, its animal print. It is a wardrobe essential that can be used for a
Sunday brunch as well as Friday night outs . This classic animal print was seen
all over the fall winter 2013 runways on everything from structured jackets to
flirty skirts and sunglasses.
I paired this leopard print top with my skinny black jeggings that allows
the top to showcase its style. I thought an in shirt would make the attire a
little too formal so I decided to go for this 'knotty' look (pun intended) by
tying a knot at the end which makes this outfit look semi-formal.To add a pop
of colour to this outfit I wore my red pumps that have the same print on the
heel and also they match with my top.
Animal print is not just about the prints from the large cat family
(cheetah and leopard prints) but also black-and-white zebra zigzags, snake
prints, giraffe print, spotted pony and many more which have the most staying
power. Accessories like handbags, belts, and ballet flats hold up well, and so
do blouses and basic sweaters, like cardigans and V-necks. It can suit a rock
chick's rebellion; it can be hippie, high-end or hip-hop. Small wonder these
spots stubbornly refuse to fade.
